OOTD(outfit of the day)

I havent blog in weeks :( I need to get my camera working again.


Alot has happened for the most part.
I got offered a neat job at a vintage shop here in PA. I'm sooooo impress by this gigantic store. They carry great quality, gently used items(better than Buffalo Exchange), but has prices that are unbelievably lower than Goodwill. If you are a vintage lover like myself, the clothes will put you in vintage heaven. Plus, they put out loads of items everyday and also give to 16 charities.
Anyway, I wore this to work today, minus the shoes.

Ombre` hair for $1

To acheive the carefree ombre` hair look all you need is:
-hair lightener($1) + developer (1.29)
-mix in 1 part lightening powder + 2 parts developer


Directions:
-Divide your hair down the center of your head
-Grab horizontal sections and paint starting from the bottom working your way up. I go up about 2-3 inches. -You can go up more.
-I folllow a pattern painting from lowest then going higher as I get towards the frontal section.
-Wash after desire color is achieve. You can use a toner if you like.






I already have left over developer so it only cost me a buck to do my hair!

Gifts for your naughty or nice man

      Christmas comes by so quickly.
Every mall, train station, and restaurant you set your foot on brainwashes you with Christmas music. Heck, there is also a singing fountain that plays Christmas music.
Lets be honest here, Christmas music doesn't get anyone warm and fuzzy until the actual day!
Other than that, holiday music is just a constant reminder that Christmas is near and to hurry up with those gifts.


As if making endless gift lists for family is stressful enough, you don't need anything else to level up your stress.
That includes buying a gift for your boyfriend, husband, or boy toy(whatever floats your boat here!).

I use to be that girl who showers her boyfriend with expensive gifts etc.
What does buying him an Xbox really say? Nothing. He will be too occupy with his new toy.
The past year or two ago I just stopped caring about meaningless gifts.
To eliminate the woes, just stick to fun and quirky gifts. Gifts without a hefty price tag are ones that keeps on giving back.

Savour the Summer

The weather in August is pretty pleasing to me. I had recollections of August being the hottest month of the summer...not this year. Lately it is warm with that perfect cool breeze that makes you turn off your AC and open up the windows. On other days it would be stormy and raining. (Yes!)


I'm kind of sick of this city already. Or perhaps I still long for a reason to stay here. I feel like I've met everyone already, or have I? Is it because everyone I have met did not stand out or interest me?  
On another subject, I don't like starting out with physical relationships. I always want something deeper rather than physical attractions alone. I would like to get to know the person before meeting up with them. It's the only way I know for sure that he is interested in me more than just a hook up. Goodness, it's almost fall, I need to get a boyfriend already! jkjk




Back to business,so much is in stored for September.
First, I will be doing a huge vintage clothing haul and shooting them/vlog? Second, I will be vending at Girard Fest on the 24th. Third, I will get to update more frequently when I get a new camera.

Mustard been love at first sight

          Today I felt like posting two outfits up just because. I wore this top out and received plenty of compliments. At one point I felt like I had diamonds or something glued to me. What really drawn my attention to this top was the chain detailing on the sleeves. It is also lightweight and racer-back which in my eyes is a stylish way to wear tanktops.
The pants felt like the texture of suede but not really? These pants were not too thin or too thick, it was just right. If you failed the cameltoe test, either get a size up or wear a longer top.

Summer Shorts I love

bohemian rhapsody

Hello again!
Let's see my summer hasn't really kicked off quite yet.
I feel like when the summer begins I become a bit less productive! :( That's why Fall/Winter are my favorite seasons. I love being busy--writing endless papers for classes, studying, and working.

I don't plan on going on vacation until August. There is San Francisco where I've always wanted to check out. Also, The Pacific Coast Music Fest in San Diego I believe.


Let me introduce you to this Jacque & Koko kimono style button down. This roomy top makes me feel like I am taken back into the 70's. I research Jacque and Koko on ebay and alot of bohemian and retro tops came up.
What sold me was the print, you cannot find a print like this now. I snatched this at my local thrift store for only $4!! I belted this with a hunter green suede belt which I thrifted from Good Wills for $2.88! :O How lucky am I?! This outfit has many different colors but the colors all blend well together like a family!

         I finally found the urge and motivation to blog again.
Somehow my posts got deleted/removed by blogspot and I got lazy as I struggle to find ideas for blog posts. :(
           It was not even about finding ideas; for I have plenty, but finding an actual direction on how I want my blog to be like. For instance,do I want to include my life within a post? Should I feature music so my audience feels more closer to me? Do I feature an outfit per week or several posts per week? See what I mean?
          I've found alot of inspirations from other bloggers, my girl friend/blogger, and a special boy! Now that I have a good sense of direction I will try to put 2-3 posts per week!

This outfit explains my style in a nutshell. I love flowy tops paired with cut off denim shorts for the summer. If I am wearing something fitted on the bottom I  balance it out with a loose top. You can go from brunch, to shopping, to a dinner date. I am lazy so I cannot continuously change outfits throughout the day!!

inexpensive makeup remover

If you happen to run out of makeup removers and like me, lazy to run out and get more. There are alternatives that you can find in your house and it does not cost a penny.

Olive Oil

Not only is it natural and gentle on the skin but also removes dark eyeshadows and waterproof mascara. It removes all of the above with just a few swipes and does not tug on the eye. The olive oil also nourishes and lubricates the skin around the eye.

Quick tip: Remove with cotton pads or cotton swaps 
You save: $5/mth , $60/year.



Lotion:

Ok, this does sound weird and I havent seen people using lotion to remove makeup but it does work!
My laziness(thank god) made me not able to trudge downstairs after a night out to get the olive oil from my kitchen. So I saw my body lotion, and lotion contains oils which lubricates the skin. Any form of oil is still able to remove eye makeup.
One swipe and all of my tough eye makeup came right off. It did not irritate my eye and this brand, Nivea contains Vitamin E which also nourishes the eye area.

Quick tip: Try an inexpensive lotion like Nivea, but avoid thick cream like moisturizers.
Make sure you PAT the lotion down on your cotton pads/tissue BEFORE wiping your eyes. 

Remember to double cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize to ensure a healthier complexion!
Dont forget to load up on the require h2o daily.
