love + lace

Today was such a gorgeous day--high 70's!
I have been in a funk since last week. After many jin and tonics, steak dinners, and numerous amounts of dancing with girlfriends, my mood climbed back up. I'm just thankful that my two good friends L+C are going through the same and that I wasn't alone.
I realized you cannot waste time on anyone who doesn't have time for you. Nobody deserves to be an option to anyone. Lame!

Ok, so I am in love with this fitted, open back lace dress. I did a photoshoot last week and got to keep this dress and a cream cardigan as a gift! Plus I got paid! Woot :D

I have this crazy pet peeve about wearing cheap super tight "nylon" dresses(u know what I'm talking about!) as cocktail dresses. I love how this dress has a vintage and classy feel. The mini length is what makes this very modern and "young". Who wants to feel like an old lady? Unless you're an old lady reading this which is cool by me! Although you may feel a bit constricted in the front because of the high neck, the dress does compensate for its open back.

"7 for all mankind" denim

Last week I got the pleasure to model for www.kembrel.com. (Kembrel is similar to "rue lala" and "hautelook".)
Kembrel supplies clothing lines from: American Apparel, Juicy Couture, 7, Matt & Nat, Cheap Monday etc.

Anyway I was told I had to model 5 pieces of denim from "7 for all mankind" line (!!!)
I was running super late for the shoot and had no makeup on except foundation! I arrived at the shoot looking like crap and she right away put me in the clothes and started shooting. I knew the photos will turn out like crap but owell, I am on an actual website! :)

great lean fit; minimal stretch

relax fit; not my fav.
